HIGH ABRASIVE VERTICAL GRINDING CENTER
High-Abrasive CNC Vertical Grinding Center And Ancillary Equipment
To Grind Exotic Materials Such As Titanium And Inconel


      • These VGC's are designed to grind high-pressure gas turbine components used in
        jet engines such as casings, shafts, blades, vanes and shrouds.
      • An 18 or 24 station automatic tool changer is available for either model, arranged
        for holding both grinding wheels and standard tooling.
      • Utilizing either nickel plated or VIT CBN wheels and oil cutting fluids with maximum
        capacity of four-to-six grinding wheels with maximum diameter of 8.25" (209mm),
        these VGC's provide flexibility and convenience for precision grinding or creep feed
        grinding.
      • In addition, the machines have the flexibility of standard milling, drilling, tapping
        and boring operations.
      • Single or Dual stages hydraulic system for Optional Clamping devises fixtures
        customized to customers application will allow, with one set-up, to perform all
        the above, reducing time and increasing the accuracy on finish arts.
      • The machines incorporate a three-axis control system with optional four or five
        axis contouring capabilities available from Siemens® or GE-Fanuc®,
      • Offering work envelopes of X=24"; 30"; 40"; 50"; Y=16"; 20" and Z=20"; 23"
      • Positioning accuracy is ±0.0002"(0.005mm) with repeatability of ±0.0001"(0.002mm).
